LG G5 with 5.3 inch QUAD HD Display, 4 GB RAM launching in India on June 1

LG India has finally sent out media invites for their flagship launch in India on June 1.

As per specifications are concerned, the LG G5 has a 5.3 inch Quad HD Display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor.

The phone still supports a removable battery and storage expandability while upgrading the build quality of the phone and incorporating a fingerprint scanner. All thanks to it's special feature, modularity.

It would be running on the LG’s custom UI based on Android Marshmallow. In the camera department, the device houses a 16-megapixel image sensor as well as a wide-angle 8-megapixel resolution on the rear side which is different from the HTC M8 from yesteryear and both the cameras work independently. It does support NFC and incorporate a USB Type-C port.

While the price of the phone hasn’t been revealed, the company has started taking pre-orders on Flipkart with a free LG Cam Plus module for early adopters. Seeing the pricing trend of LG from past, we are guessing a 50-54k INR price point.
