Now we got some screenshots of the beta version of Whatsapp for iOS, where we can find the “Video Call” icon on top right of the chat screen. Earlier we can find only the voice call option along with profile picture, and now the video call icon is added beside them. While the current beta app version available for iOS devices is 2.16.3.523, and the video call feature is expected to roll out in next few days with the version 2.16.3.525.

Till now, Services like Facebook, Viber and Skype are the most widely used applications in India for Video calling etc.

Implementation of video calling on Whatsapp will be really effective as this is what users have been waiting for a long time.

The on-the-go use of video call will be a really cool service.
