YU Set to Launch 'The Real Beast' YUtopia on 17 December 2015
After a lot of twists and turns, YU is finally ready to launch what they claim to be the real beast, the YU YUtopia!
They teased their Competition, OnePlus and Apple, and it would be interesting to see if the YUtopia is worth the wait.
The company killed the OnePlus 2 for not having Quick Charge capabilities, hinting that the Yutopia will sport Quick Charging. Also, it is confirmed that it will include 32GB of onboard storage by kicking Apple's ass for having a base model for Apple iPhone 6s and 6s+ with16GB of storage. YU's twitter handle has also confirmed that the device will come with QHD display and metal build.
In some leaks, The Yu550 smartphone had specifications like 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor (MSM8994) coupled with 4GigaBytes of RAM. It had a score of 1353 in single-core test and 4622 in the multi-core test on GeekBench 3. It will be sporting a 5.2-inch QHD display and is said to run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based on Cyanogen OS. The device will be the cheapest to offer a Snapdragon 810 SoC inside and rumors suggest that it will be priced at something around 19,999 INR being the best in class.
